This is a brief guide that shows the three steps to do before starting every project. They’ll come automatic after a few times but this can always be a good reminder.
1. Plug the TinkerKit shield on the Arduino
2. Plug it to the USB of your computer
3. Open the Arduino Software and import the TinkerKit library
When the library is successfully imported, the top line of the editor is #include <TinkerKit.h>
If you change the Arduino board, let’s say that you were using a Leonardo and now you switched to a UNO, remember to change it also in the settings. The setting is saved also when you close the application, so you don’t have to do it every time, only when you change the type of Arduino board.
That’s it, now you’re ready to begin. Take a look at the next tutorial to start with the code!
